Hi all,
Trying to make sense of the different options to complete all my pre-reqs to dental school as a non-traditional,non-science major who graduated college in 2006. Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated!
I would like to go to UMD Dental school...(I am going to call them and try to meet with someone to ask questions, but would like to even know my options)
--is it preferred to take classes at UMD Science in the Evening program? Or does it not really matter where you take the pre-reqs?
-- Is it better to do a DIY post-bacc and is that basically registering as a non-degree seeking student or do you have to apply to school?
--Is it better to enroll in a formal post bacc program? those seem highly competitive and intense for someone without science background and hasn't taken any classes since 2006.
--Is it frowned upon to complete pre-reqs at community college?
I am geographically limited because of family/children
Thank you!
