Here are my Scores

PA: 20
QR: 14:laugh:
BIO: 25
GC: 20
OC: 21
TS: 22
AA: 20

GPA 3.77
SCI GPA 3.76
Math GPA 4.0
Biology Major, Chemistry Minor.

I bombed the quantitative reasoning. We were told to remain in our seats during the test and if we needed anything to raise our hands. When I ran out of scratch paper on the QR I raised my hand but no one came, which forced me to squeeze calculations in what few blank spots I had. I should have just walked out and grabbed more paper. I am applying to OHSU, CASE, Creighton, Marquette, Virginia Commonwealth and UNLV. Any advice would be appreciated.

i wouldn't sweat it. you have great scores despite your QR score. just check with each of those schools to see if they have cutoffs for each section. i know my in-state school (UF) has a cutoff of 15, but i know this isn't true for the majority of schools. good luck!

jb!

Some schools have cut off, it might be a problem at some schools but not others, but overall, u have good stats, I wont worry too much.

Its kinda funny that you got a 14 in QR when your math gpa is a 4.0 . anyway, call your top choices to see if they have cutoff. your scores are good so i wouldnt worry to much. gl.

Hey your grades are still great i honestly dont think you shoudl be worried all too much most schools from what i hear look at the the quantitative reasonign and reading the least out of the sections so dont worry all too much. Your sciences look excellent. Just to be sure i think you shoud callup the dental schools and ask their opinion. Good Luck!!

I think you are fine. I feel you w/ the math. I was a math major for 2 years and bombed the QR as well (16). I was raised w/ a calculator attached to my hip, and not having one was not fun at all. Best of luck to you!!! 🙂

I also feel you on the QR. It's supposed to be my strongest subject but I somehow got a 16 on it. THAt's what I get for being overconfident. AFterall, the math were supposed to be trig, algebra and geometry, stuff you learned in high school. But not having a calculator does sucks...

You'll be fine though cause your Math background GPA is strong. Give the adcom an explanation about the QR and you'll be fine
