Hello, I am sorry if this the wrong place to ask my question. Maybe someone from canada can help me. One of my friend 29 yr old, immigrated to canada a month back. About 3 weeks before departing to canada, he had undergone an ultrasound scan just to make sure everything was ok. Unfortunately, they found a polypoid mass in the urinary bladder, which upon further investigation turned out to be urothelial carcinoma, low grade, with extension upto the lamina propria. can anyone tell me what would be his best possible approach about this in canada. he's really worried that if he tells the truth, he might not be covered by insurance. all his govt. paperwork including the insurance will be completed by december 2nd week. i would be really grateful if someone can answer this. thanks a lot.

This is a really tough question and it really depends on how far the paperwork has progressed. Here are the things you should do:

1) Take any advice that you get on here with a grain of salt (a lot of salt)
2) Talk to an immigration lawyer in canada. It will cost you money but its the only sure fire way of knowing you've got your information right. The right information is very very critical here.

Best of luck and hopefully everything works out.
