Overall AMCAS GPA is close to a 3.0 and have the next year to finish pre-reqs and take additional units to bump my GPA up. I know that BCPM classes apply to my cumulative GPA too... but, at this point, is it worth taking non-science BCPM online courses purely for the additional units to bump up the cumulative GPA? Or is better to focus on taking as many science/BCPM classes as possible so that it will bump up both sGPA and cGPA? Since I only have a year to finish my pre-reqs I want to make sure I'm making the best use of my time. Especially since each class only bumps up my GPA 0.02 points!

An application via AACOMAS shows us your science and non-science GPAs, as well as cumulative. Any science courses you take have the grades factored into your cGPA.

We pay vastly more attention to the sGPA and cGPA.

Overall AMCAS GPA is close to a 3.0 and have the next year to finish pre-reqs and take additional units to bump my GPA up. Though I probably won't apply MD because of the low GPA, I am a little confused on how the GPA works.

If I take BCPM classes now, I am assuming it factors into my BCPM GPA. But what about non-BCPM classes? I know that BCPM classes apply to my cumulative GPA as well... but, at this point, is it worth taking online courses for the additional units to bump up the cumulative GPA as well?

Thanks Goro.

I think I might be a little confused about these terms on the GPA spreadsheet

Cumulative Undergraduate AMCAS GPA Inc. Post Bac
Cumulative Undergraduate AMCAS BCPM GPA Inc. Post Bac
Cumulative All Other Undergraduate AMCAS GPA Inc. Post Bac

I am assuming the 2nd one is the sGPA - but which one is the cGPA?
