I will be graduating this semester with a bachelor's in speech pathology.
I am looking into PT school because I like the medical aspect of it.
I am lacking a few pre-reqs:
a 2nd biology (would zoology work?), abnormal psych, anat and phys, and physics.
If I took these classes starting this spring ('13) i could be done with them by fall ('13).

Since I will have allready graduated from my university, would it be acceptable to take these pre-reqs at a community college to save money? I currently attend a good research university where all of the other pre-reqs were taken.
I know that you CAN take them at a community college, but I don't want it to be something that I don't get accepted over. I take the GRE next month which leaves me plenty of time to retake it if need be.
Otherwise, my overall GPA is 3.47 and my major GPA is 3.6
Thanks!

Yeah, as far as I know, most schools if not all do not care where you earn your credits from. I think some schools will say on their website specifically if you cannot earn more than x amount of credits at a 2 yr college. But yeah, schools won't really care where you take the classes, as long as you have them and do well in them.

I don't recommend zoology---you will be working w/ humans not animals 🙂 DO BIO II. It will be more acceptable for more programs w/o doubt. Com Col classes are OK just make sure they have the lab.
