Hi all,

I am a former pre-med student who launched a career in pharmaceuticals because I really did not have a plan on what to do if I did not get into med school. I after kind of figuring out what I wanted to do (after spending 13 years in the wrong career) I was wondering if you guys might have the same problem if you find yourself not going to med school as well.

This is not a scam and it is not a way for me to try and sell you something. I really am just wondering if anyone could benefit from the advice of someone who has already seen people what default careers pre-meds who do not get into med school go into and may not like because they did not know all the options.

Can you add some commas in there? I "think" I know what you are asking, but not sure, so I apologize if I am off the mark... I did banking for several years after pre-med. Essentially the dissonance inside me from not pursuing my passion for medicine caught up with me. I quit my fortune 500 career, brushed up my science background and applied the first day of the cycle this year. 1 acceptance so far, and totally worth the career change. Good luck!
