Hey Everyone,
So I've been apart of this site for quite some time, and it has motivated me to revamp my life after having my 2nd year demolish my GPA. I've gained a lot of knowledge on the application process, but am stumped here.
I've gotten it back up to about a 3.15, and still have my 4th year which I'm expecting it to bring it up to a 3.3-3.4 (which I feel is average-ish). My science GPA is a 2.9, but I will be retaking a course which I got a D in this coming year, as well as taking 8 science courses next year which I'm expecting to bring that up to a 3.2.
I will be taking the DAT in November (Canadian student, Canadian DAT, thus will only be applying to Canadian friendly schools).
I have a TON of volunteer/clinical experience so that is not a concern at all for me. I've been volunteering for years.
Friends and family around me want me to apply thinking I may have the slightest chance, but I feel like it will be pointless when I can apply next year with a competitive application. I know on aadsas you can put down courses you plan on taking, but will they wait for those grades to come or will they just throw my application out the window before even seeing my 4th year? I am confident my 4th year grades will bring me up.
I plan on applying to USC, NYU, and UDM if I apply this cycle, and will broaden that list greatly next year
Thank you so much for any advice.
