Advice on Applying?

My stats are:
4.0 Community College GPA
2.8 UC GPA (Only with 3 classes)
Undergrad graduation year: 2016
Applying to Pharmacy School: 2015
Schools applying to: UCSD, USC, UOP, UCSF.
Extracurriculars: Sorority, Pharm Tech, Intern Tech at another location, and a member of 2 other orgs.

My problems are:
a. My GPA (which obviously has time to be fixed considering its based off 3 classes that I got a B- and 2 C's in. the other classes were taken P/NP being that they had nothing to do with my major or my grad school requirements).
b. I currently have 7 W's. 1 came from the fact that I got into a car accident the day before a midterm... and 5 others came from medical reasons where I was hospitalized, seeing numerous doctors, and unable to keep up in school. This also is a reason I received a C in one of my classes. I tried to stay at least in one of them, but unfortunately the damage was done from falling behind due to my medical reasons and I couldn't catch back up.

What are admission officers going to think if they see that I have 7 W's on my transcript? Will I be able to prove that I was going through a medical emergency during this time. I tried to petition to get them removed, but most of the professors have not gotten back to me.

I had 6 w's on my transcript for various reasons and not one asked about them. Just address it if asked if they don't ask just let it ride out. Just don't get anymore and you'll be fine.

There's a section in PharmCAS aside from your personal statement where you have a couple hundred characters to explain any extenuating circumstances. Supplementals may offer that chance too. I know UCSF had optional essays having to do specifically with hardships as well as other schools about overcoming obstacles etc

Make sure to try to have an upward trend and a cumulative GPA that isn't so low that schools exclude you right away. Also, don't give up on petitioning to your professors and the school about removing the W's. It's a little effort that might make a big difference in the long run.

I've never had a W and don't know prepharmer's university's policy on removing them. I think my university had different categories for the transcript too like "Withdraw Unintentionally" that wouldn't look as bad. Since prepharmer said they petitioned to have them removed and were awaiting responses, it sounded like something worth pursuing if it could make a difference on the transcript.

Yes, I know many schools even have W (pass)/W (fail), but I have never ever heard of instances of W's removals. It might be worth a shot to double check but I think W's are always permanent academic records.
