If it's a toxic environment and you have other opportunities, I would absolutely leave. 4500 hours is more than enough at one place.

Variety of experience is better than thousands of hours. Focus on getting good letters of recommendation and places that make you love vet med. Life is short, don't work in toxic job environments.
