I can't speak on your chances on getting in, but wanted to comment to say that I'm in the same boat. My PCAT score would have been better if not for my reading score. The other subset area's were high like yours, but I got a 16 in reading. Its not that I can't read or that I can't comprehend what I'm reading, as I've obviously completed some pretty challenging courses that require such skills; the plain simple fact is I messed up. I spent too much time reading the first passage. I've applied to four schools and so far received an invitation for an interview to only one.

Thanks for your reply. If you don't mind me asking which schools did you apply to because I know like USF say they look at the holistic approach but I know UF is very hard to get into I know I can do better but the next one is in January and I don't know whether or not to take it (if there are even spots left). I don't know if its worth retaking or just hoping for the best because its like 3 weeks away.

You got a good chance at all the schools you mentioned except UF. Even though your pcat is low, you got a nice GPA and EC. I don't know about USF, but you will get an interview from NSU, PBA and LECOM 🙂
And your chances are not zero at UF. You might get an interview later in the cycle. ***(not guaranteed tho lol)***

I applied to OU, UMKS, UAMS, and Albany. Most are centrally located to me except Albany. I took the same approach by applying to schools that use the holistic approach, not just metrics. A student shouldn't be judged solely on their PCAT performace.

I have a decently high PCAT, but low GPA-ish I a still trying to finish the pharmcas and stuff. for ur scores I think u can make it into most schools in florida, except UF like others have said. UF needs high PCAT and GPA from what I hear

Thanks for your advice it definitely encouraging !!

I would like to recommend to each of you to apply to Cedarville, Cincinnati, WVU, and Marshall. They have several students from Florida that I know well that enjoy the program. Cincinnati has one of the cheapest tuition in the country (IS & OOS).

Did anyone else get an email today from PharmCAS about the interview no show policy? I am trying to determine if this was an email sent to everyone or if I need to look in to it further. I am a little confused as to why I received this email.
