I'm just about to start into my 3rd year and wanted to know what PDAs people liked/disliked/used. I know JACK about PDAs and was wondering what is a good one for a 3rd year to get and what you like/dislike bout them. Thanks for ya 2 cents, its much apprecaited.

I've used Palm OS handhelds since 1997, starting when I was a medical student. Windows Mobile devices have come long way since then, but have yet to match the Palm OS in terms of overall ease and speed of use. Most major medical software titles are available for both platforms, but there's still lots more freeware and "esoteric-ware" for the Palm OS. I generally recommend a Palm OS device for medical users, unless there is some compelling reason to choose Windows Mobile. It's largely a matter of personal preference these days.

As for which device, the Palm Tungsten E2 is a good choice for most medical users.

go to a store and see which one you are more comfortable with, your price range, etc

you're not going to make a bad decision choosing either one

I have an HP iPAQ with UpToDate on it (which includes LexiComp Drug Database). I have used this cofiguration for a couple of years and love it!!
