Advice on possible Interview question

Hi everyone, I was just wondering on how you would explain or if have any tips for me on answering a possible interview question about explaing a bad grade. I have an interview on Dec. 2nd and seem to be stuck on this question while gathering my thoughts.

All tips and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you so much! 🙂

Be honest as to what happened and why you got the grade you did. Explain how you learned from your mistake and how you bettered yourself after getting that grade. You need to show them that you matured and are ready to handle the rigorous optometry school curriculum.

Thank you so much for your tip ressespieces. I think I have an idea of what I want to work my answer around now 🙂 And you are right, being honest is the best key for any question.
