I am considering doing the UCLA Extension postbacc while I work full-time (42-43 hours a week). It's an easy job with good benefits, like solid health and dental insurance.

However, I am concerned about the implications of this on my GPA as I attended another similarly tiered university on the semester system (UCLA does quarters and is thereby faster paced), while not working at all, and did not do too hot in my science classes there (see below).
  • General Chemistry 1 & Lab: A/A
  • Organic Chemistry 1 & Lab: B-/A
  • Calculus 1: B+
  • Calculus 2: B+
  • Statistics: B+
  • Human Physiology: A
  • Organic Chemistry 2: P (Spring 2020)
  • Stats & Data Science: A
  • Research & Data Analysis in Psychology: A+

That being said, I am much more dedicated and mature this time.

I have $80k in savings but don't want to spend all of my life savings on a full-time postbacc like Loyola Marymount and Scripps (I probably would not even be admitted).

I am also wondering if psychology can be taken online at a CC as it is not a science class nor a science prerequisite.

I am currently taking one class at UCLA extension pre-health program while working part-time! Also, there are plenty of students in my class who have a full-time job. I am not sure how many units they are taking but personally I don't recommend taking more than 2 classes at once. And I also took classes at a community college, including General Chem! So you definitely can take classes at a cc!

You already have most of the prereqs. Trying to work while doing a full-time program is self-sabotage.

I understand; I was going to go to UCLA Extension part-time to retake Orgo 2 and the rest of the pre-reqs + upper division classes.
