Hey guys, I have a scheduling question I'm hoping you can give me some quick advice about. This summer I have to take two French courses as well as calculus 2 in order to graduate on time. In addition to these classes I am also working full-time (read 50-60 hours per week) in a research laboratory. Since French is a sequence of courses, I have to take them one after the other in express course form, however, I have the option of taking calculus 2 as either a full summer course (2 1/2 months) or a summer express course ( ~ 1 month). While I would naturally choose the longer course, I took Calculus 1 three years ago and have forgotten most of the material. Thus, I could opt for the express course (which doesn't start until the second half of the semester) and use the first half of the summer to review but then I would have to deal with calculus 2 in one month. Finally, I take the summer long course but withdraw if I don't do well and then enroll in the course starting in the second half of the summer. The issue here is that I already have 3 or 4 W's on my transcript and don't know if another would start to raise a red flag.

So, out of my three options (full summer, end of summer express course, or full summer but withdraw if necessary) what do you guys recommend?

The 4 W's you already have should raise the red flag, another couple probably wouldn't make a difference.

If i were you i would do the express courses. Do you really need to take your french classes over the summer? You can usually take your foreign language classes from an "online" college and have them transfer over and meet your schools language requirements (Online language courses are quite easy)

Make sure you do well in Calc
