Hello,
I am currently filling out the UHS secondary. The last page ask you to add anything that might be relevant to your application. I was planning on putting an expanded personal statement that included: my inspiration for wanting to be a physician, why I want to be an osteopathic physician, addressing my poor performance my 1st two years of undergrad and how I responded my last two years, and a summary of my current research activities. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should put here in additon to or instead of these. I am open to any and all ideas. Especially from current UHSers. Also, has anyone received an interview invitation, yet? Thanks.

I worked on the same context... I expanded on the ideas that made me a unique candidate and why I feel I would bring to the school and a student and as a future doctor.

Whatever you place in that blank, make it count. Consider the UHS secondary more important than an interview at the school.

UHS weeds out many students based on primary and secondary apps. The interview is somewhat of a formality and a chance for UHS to see if you are some sort of knob that only looks great on paper. The administration is very open with the fact that aprox. 85% of the people who interview there get an acceptance letter.

Good luck and make your secondary count!
