If I start reading first aid and doing question banks in january, is that enough time to get a good step 1 score?

Turtlez.... Make sure you learn from the uworld question bank and after you are done then take NBME and you will know if you are ready or not... And every person has a different learning style some take longer to finish qbank like a year and some take few weeks. So it depends on how much time you take to finish everything. Good luck ....
