Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide whether I should submit my application now or wait until I take the OAT in four weeks. I have all my application stuff ready, so is it better for me to submit it now (without OAT) rather than letting another month go by? Also, if I submit now and let's say I don't do too well on the OAT, will schools outright reject me, or would they tell me to retake it? I'm applying to NECO and UHCO, if that helps, and my overall GPA is a 3.45 (prereq gpa of 3.0)

Orrrrr should I wait and see how I do on the OAT before submitting the application?

It will take 6 weeks until your OAT scores are official and sent to the schools of your choice. The timing of your OAT doesn't really matter compared to when you submit your application. You just need them to both be sent.

Whether or not you take the OAT should be based more on your feeling. Do you feel like you'll do well? Do you feel like you have studied enough? You'll never feel completely ready, but you need to be confident in yourself in order to do well. My advice would be to take the OAT when you're ready and not worry about the rest until you see your score.
