Devastated is an understatement.

Studied for 67 days, 387 hours, took 9 practice FLs.

AAMC FL scores: 517, 514, 517

Actual: 507 (127,125,128,127)

Don't know what to do now. Probably will retake in March.

Stats are upward trend 3.49 cGPA, 3.75 sGPA, Filipino, CA resident. Non-traditional, 26 yo, Military service, 1 year of research w/ 2 oral presentations, good ECs

Applying the 2019 cycle. I wanted to go the MD route, but now considering the DO path. What schools am I competitive at?

Is it worth a retake? I’ve put my life on hold for the last 4-5 months for this test and completely underperformed when it mattered. I’m so sad rn.

Congrats to those who killed it, you guys deserve it.

Many thanks for your service to our country! This helps you more than you know.
I suggest the following. Consider a retake in Spring of 2020 if you get no love in the 2019-20 cycle by next T-giving

Rochester (maybe)
UCF (maybe)
U Toledo
Dartmouth
U VM
Miami
Tufts
George Washington
Georgetown
SLU
Albany
Rush
Rosy Franklin
NYMC
MCW
VCU
EVMS
Wayne State
Wake Forest
Netter
Jefferson
Temple
Drexel
Creighton
Tulane
Loyola
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
Oakland-B
Seton Hall
Nova MD
CUSM
UCI
UCD
UCR IF you're from the Inland Empire

Any DO program. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me.
