Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm a Canadian applicant. BSc Biological Sciences/ BA Economics
cum GPA: 3.51 (upward trend in each of the yrs, last 2 yrs were 4.0)
science GPA: 3.25
MCAT: 11PS 10VR 10BS Q = 31Q
Research experience:
16 months of research in microbiology
Volunteer experience: average (typical hospital volunteering, some leadership stuff)

I was wondering if I would have a shot at any MD schools? I know that my science GPA is a bit on the low side.

Thanks in advance!

If you want to stay in Canada, it is my understanding that the stats of incoming classes are generally higher than your numbers. You would need to get some other hook.

Your stats are competitive (if slightly low) for American allo. schools, and good for American DO schools. If you would like to go to school in the U.S. make sure that you apply broadly!'

Good luck

Your numbers are slightly better than mine, and I'm in, so YES you have a shot.

And I'm in an allopathic school.

And to put in more of my valuable (Percival said, sarcastically) advice:

Don't waste your time worrying about applying to a highly-ranked medical program. For 99% of MDs, it's more important to go to school / residency WHERE you want to live. I went to a very prestigious university thousands of miles away from home. It looks sexy on a resume, but I know very few people in the state in which I want to settle down.

In life, it's more important to make good inter-personal connections than it is to have a fancy diploma. Plus, trying to be #1 for those schools is a lot of unnecessary stress. An MD with a degree from ANYWHERE is set up for success. Don't worry about the name on the diploma.

Your uGPA is a bit below average but not that much and your MCAT is right at the average for matriculants. Therefore, my advice to you is to do a thorough search of a broad range of US medical schools that accept Canadians and apply broadly. You need to make everything else in your application as competitive (no average extracurriculars/LORs/personal statement) as possible. Do you have a "shot"? Yes, but you increase your chances of acceptance if you apply to many schools. You just need to make sure that you don't get ones that automatically screen by uGPA and that they take out of state applicants.
