Your GPAs are very strong. If you could up your AA 1 or 2 points I think that would make you an extremely strong competitor. But I would think you are pretty good for any in-state school. Just compare your scores to theirs.
 
if d school is what you want quit being a "slacker" and get your DAT score up, and you'll get in. a 17 just won't cut it these days No matter WHAT your GPA unless you're one of those people that are extremely lucky like hit the lotto/get hit by lightining lucky. There are no excuses...just work hard, get the score up if u want to become a dentist.
