  1. Pre-Optometry
I just took my OAT today... i was in shockkkkk by how "easy" the physics was.. the problem was i over studied thinking it would resemble the college physics i took.. Not the case. I spent so much time trying to grasp the hard concepts that I forgot about the ones I learned back in high school... My own fault.. nehow.. I have a 3.3 GPA.. LOTSSSS of experience, and got a 320 on the OAT..

HONESTLY.. do u think i have any chance at an interview for NOVA. Southern. PCO. SUNY or SSCO? Please offer me some advice because I feel like im not competitive enough as an applicant and am very worried. thanks

If you have a strong background in pre-optometry, i.e. lots of experience plus solid letters, then you could probably get interviews with those stats. However, it really sounds to me like you think you could do much better taking the oat for a second time. If you would care to post all your subject scores (or even pm me or anyone else if you'd want to) it would give a better indication, but regardless, if you think you could score significantly higher by taking it again, I'd encourage you to go for it. Because, high oat scores can really help to offset that gpa, making your application that much better. I'll end by saying that your stats, as they are, are NOT really bad or anything so don't just assume you don't "have a chance" at getting an interview.

I think you could get interviews at all of them if all subscores are 300 or better.

Thats not that bad... I think you have a fair chance... my mentor says that it really comes down to the interview... and that alot of boneheads get interviews... lol... so you have a chance... but thats only if each score is at least 300 each.. Good Luck!
