I'm currently a junior in college. My sGPA is below 3.0 (B's & C's in BCP). I was a Biological Sciences major, but recently switched to Psychobiology. If I stick with the Psych major I will graduate this fall and look in to doing a post-bacc to improve my GPA. Would it be better to go back to being a Biosci major so that I have more upper division science courses to count towards my sGPA (assuming I do well in them)?

what is you overall gpa, and science gpa? do you attend a very competitive school?

overall gpa = 2.99
science gpa = 2.8x

i attend UC Davis

im not familiar with cali schools, the only schools i know is, USC,Berkley, and UCLA.haha. if its competitive, and theres a local 4-year college where its not as competitive, then I would personally graduate early, and take upper level bios in a relatively less competitive program. this is my opinion, there may be those that disagree, but i believe the grade is more important than where you take it ( for the most part).

I'd graduate and take some time off and see what you really want to do. If you have the determination.....which is really important, go to your local state college (Sacramento) and do your own informal postbacc. State colleges are cheaper. Take additional science courses for like a year, get a 4.0, and apply to dental school. You'll get in if you put your mind to it!
