I am finishing up most of the pre-requisites needed to apply to pharmacy school... I intend to apply next fall and over the course of the next year I will be doing a lot of volunteer work because I feel it may help since that always looks good on an application. I am hoping to get a job soon in a pharmacy because I also need the work experience to apply! I was wondering if anyone had advice as far as how many hours of volunteer work I should strive to do & how many letters of recommendation I should try and have before applying??

I REALLY need to get in to Xavier the first time I apply.... It is my only option since I cannot move away for school... any other advice is greatly appreciated.
