advise on NY dental schools?

Hi everyone. I've lived my entire life in california and I'm in the process of applying for dental school. I applied to all the programs in california but I also want to apply to NY schools. Money is a little tight right now, so I'm trying to figure out which NY school I should apply to. I've read a few forums but wanted to ask for updated general opinions on NY schools from those who applied or current students. Thanks a lot!

PS. I have descent stats and I would be interested in specializing. Also, I would be interested in a mixture of science research/clinical experience.
