I misclicked the option that says "Yes, I authorize ADEA AADSAS to release my application information to the school-designated advisor(s)". I clicked No, so I called AADSAS and got that sorted out. Do I need to inform the schools individually about this?

This is the equivalent to allowing your application to serve as a survey and statistical analysis. It has nothing to do with the schools you are applying to, increasing your odds, or even getting better feedback for your application.
