I went once and thought it was a nice program - you got to learn about policy/politics, learn about the issues affecting our field, and do some lobbying to our congressional leaders. It's pretty cool.

So, looked it up this year. They are no longer reimbursing the 2 nights in the hotel. It's hard enough to get people to come. I mean, I can just drive in and some of the residents can get grants, but $500-600 for a non-CME event is going to lead to this becoming a regional event rather than a national program - it's just going to be physicians and physicists from the nearby mid-Atlantic. One of our friend ARRO or ASTRO liaison's want to take a crack at this?
