AF AEGD Guidelines: In-person Interview?

Does anyone here know if the AF AEGD program require an in-person interview? The closest base is a 7 hour round-trip...

As a matter of fact, even for HPSP, is the phone interview available either?

I have contacted them awhile back via email and never got a response.
