So, I lumped both my future and current hours on Amcas when applying on my application. I did this for all activities I planned to continue when applying. As of the beginning of this year, I quit research because I simply did not have the time to balance interviews, classes, and the research I had with all my other extracurriculars (i have been in this lab for 1.5 years). I am still volunteering, but I have had to significantly cut down on my hours because of interviews and catching back up with classes (I've had to take 2 weeks off from classes so far because of traveling for interviews). I projected 360 hours by this spring for volunteering, cause that was on pace with my volunteering from last year, but it doesn't look like I will reach that by the end of the year (I only have 160 as of now). I legitimately thought I would have 1 or 2 interviews max, but I guess I have a good problem now with the sheer amount I have to attend. Do you think this will be a problem? I am already accepted to my top choice, but I would hate it if they thought I was trying to deceive them or anything. I just got swamped with a ton of work and interviews unexpectedly, so I unfortunately couldn't continue my activities as expected.
TL;DR: I definitely won't finish the hours I projected for research cause I quit (too stressed) and I will not complete the projected hours for my volunteering at the current slowed down pace I am at. The rest of the activities I am doing are at the same pace though. should I be worried?
