Do you somewhat enjoy research, have ample hours in all other EC categories, and have a chunk of free time you wouldn't mind dedicating to research?
If so, then sure, why not!
If you hate research and are just trying to bolster the number of hours you have, I would say pursue something you are passionate about instead. 400 hours is more than enough to "check the box"
