Africa Wildlife Veterinary Experience

Hi all! I have been accepted and will be attending veterinary school in the fall of 2025 and I am hoping to fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting South Africa through a veterinary experience program. Does anyone have any experience with "Wild Adventure Africa" programs? Or recommend an alternative 2-week program? I am hoping to go between February and April 2025. Thanks sm in advance!

One of my friends from vet school is associated with Veterinarians International. I don’t know much about the group other than that my friend works for them, but their website shows an opportunity in Kenya in Feb to March 2025. It is not cheap and Kenya obviously isn’t South Africa, but it may be a group worth researching.

Loop Abroad has some awesome programs. I went to Thailand on a veterinary trip with them and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!!! They have a few different programs in South Africa I believe.
