did you guys call the schools to make sure everything was rec'd/the app was complete?? i want to... but i don't want to bug them. is it standard procedure to call?

Please do contact them! I forgot I hadn't mailed a transcript to one school (not a shock when applying to 12+ schools), and wouldn't have had time to get the transcript in in time if I didn't call them to make sure everything was received and that the application was complete in the first place.
I find people really don't mind and come to expect this sort of thing. Be certain though that you've left yourself enough time to be able to get in materials that weren't received. Schools (in my experience) have been very good about trying to help you out in such situations, including faxing in unofficial transcripts for reviewing. I'm not sure how GRE scores would work at this point.
Also, if this will help assuage any anxieties, it's certainly worth the call.
