after being accepted to western, how long do they give you to let them know? Do you give the $2000 all in one check or in two separate checks?

*blink blink* I think this can be found on their website and during your interview orientation. You should review those sources before asking on here. However, it is two checks, $1000 made by December 15th if you are accepted before November 15th and $1000 made in the spring of next year. Both go towards your tuition. However, if you're not accepted before November 15th, the AACOM website has that information on when you have to pay the first deposit based on when you're accepted. Best of luck.

There are 2 deadlines that vary depending on when you interviewed. You should have received this information during your interview. If you are unsure, you should call your admissions counselor.

FYI, I paid mine in full the day I found out so there was no question.

AHHHHH!!!! I just made an interview for NOV 2nd and had choices to go NOV 20 something also. I went with the 2nd b/c it is earilier but if I get accepted after the 15th then I will not have to worry about throwing a 1000 dollar deposit down while I finish the admissions process....should I call and make my interview for after the 15th? I cant waste 1000 dollars and I want to finish the process and see what schools I have to pick from...

Also, found out I have an interview at UNECOM on Nov 11th and that they will let me know if I am accepted within 1 week (whisper like UNECOM a lot) so I wonder if I should interview later at western? Maybe use western as interview experience? I am considering western but if I can avoid 1000 dollars deposits-that would be nice.

Yeah I had the same thoughts. I made mine for after nov. 15th to give me more time to make a decision in the application cycle. If we get accepted after Nov. 15th, we'll have 30 days to give them the 1000 frosties.

Hey Dave -

Congrats on your interview invites!

If you get accepted after November 15th, you'll have 30 days to make your decision, so basically, you're just delaying it some. You can very well use Western as "practice," but I found that my opinion for a school changed after I interviewed. It completes the picture of a school.

No prob Dave. If you get accepted before Nov 15th, you have until Dec 15th to put in your deposit. So, if you get contacted after Nov 15th, you have 30 days...which pretty much is the same if you think about it. If you want to be anal about it, getting accepted before Nov 15th gives you the most time (an extra few days?).
