After DAT, how long will it take to get supplemental info?

I am taking DATs 6/25 and planning to E-submit my apps 6/20.
The thing is.. im planning to visit korea the day after my DATs..
I know that I would have to come back to U.S. pretty early to receive all of the supplemental info.. and send them out to each school..
When should I come back to the states?
How long will it take to get supplemental info after taking DATs?

difficult to say since each school has it's own method of implementing secondaries. some schools will accept secondaries as soon as they receive the initial applications. often their websites will have the secondaries posted so you can work on it while you're waiting for aadsas to send your application. i know that UCSF, Creighton and UNLV does this.

other schools will wait for your application and/or DAT scores to then email or mail you secondaries. I believe U. Kentucy sent me an email, if my memory serves right.

look at you school list and find out how they do their secondaries. aadsas will take 2-4(?) weeks to get your application processed and sent to the school, i think. sorry, it's been a few years since i've applied.

Make sure you tie up ALL LOOSE ENDS before leaving (i.e all LORs and transcripts loaded into AADSAS, etc). If you leave the U.S and then you realize AADSAS didn't receive something, its going to be difficult to get these things done over the phone.

If you handle the above parts correctly and as long as you have daily internet access (with Microsoft word) in Korea, I don't see any problem with the 2ndaries. Most of them are filled online or printed, filled out, and mailed back.

Oh yeh one more thing, the 2ndary fees (for each individual schools), many schools don't have an automated system set up yet (meaning no credit card), these schools will require a check to be sent in. If you don't send in the check, they won't review your application. Make sure your able to do this where ever you are.

For 2ndaries, most are online, some you print the form, fill it out and send it in.

For 2ndary fees, most schools don't require a 2X2 pic, but the checks need to be sent in via mail (no other way unless you stop by in person). For the schools that do require 2X2 pic, you include it with the check.

is it advised to fill out secondaries and sent in BEFORE schools receive our primaries? i see the links to the supplemental forms on AADSAS after logging in, so was just wondering if I'm supposed to pay and send it in now or wait til later?
