after registering for the DAT, how long does it usually take to get a response from ADA with info on how to secure a time and location to take the exam?

I registered early friday afternoon

the computer systems are updated sometime on tuesday

i was able to register on tuesday night without waiting for the letter to arrive (your SSN = the passcode)

How do you go about registering? Is there a number I call to register?

yea and what happens when you do call early before you get your number? how long does it take if you wait? is the letter they send an email or snail mail?

i registered 4 days ago so i guess they would've processed it today?

they process dat application every tuesday...you should send them appl online by monday noon in order to be able to register next day....if you do that by monday noon, than you can call ADA on tuesday or wednesday and they will give you passcode which is your SSN(this password they send you by mail and you will receive it after few days, but calling them is a quicker way)....immediately after you get the passcode from ADA you can register for DAT i.e. go to prometric.com and find desirable time and location of test...

thanks, yea i actually got my letter in the mail today and was just trying to see available times and days on the prometric site. I almost picked one but now that I can I dont' want to just yet, I want to get through more material so I can see more of where I am before I commit to a date and have to go through the hassel of rescheduling.

thanks for the info though 🙂
