hi everybody!
i have been wondering what are the possibilities for a medical student after graduation from university. i am focusing on the non-medical fields, ie nothing of the sort of GP, specialisations etc...

eg there are many out there who takes medicine as a 2nd degree, and they end up working for other companies which require medicine as a basic knowledge, say engineering+medicine=engineer working for medical purposes...

my situation is, medicine is currently my first undergraduate course. is somebody out there been considering working(or is working) in some place other than a hospital? how did you plan your career?

putting simply, i feel like im studying the wrong subject at the wrong time!

Hey, you could be a medical researcher, or you could bank in on your medical background and be a medical writer/journalist..you can be a businesswoman/businessman and many others. Some become drug reps, others take up administrative posts in a hospital or medical establishment. the opportunities are endless! g luck!
