Do you have to stay enrolled in classes even if you end up graduating this fall but get waitlisted at dental schools? I’d rather just use that winter semester to work (substitute teacher for 5 days a week) and volunteer instead of taking classes not required. I already would have around 160 credit hours (good GPA as is) when I graduate in 2 weeks. I wouldn’t see it to be necessary for me to continuously pay for credits I don’t need, but please let me know what’s the best thing to do if for say I was waitlisted?

*This winter semester would also be my first semester off since enrolling in college full-time Fall of 2015

No??? Brother you’ve graduated by then. If you’re waitlisted everywhere you applied make sure to keep volunteering and shadowing so you can buff you app for the next cycle.

I’ve heard schools want you to stay enrolled at least part time before matriculation so I don’t know.
