Hey everyone,
I have a quick inquiry. My application was recently verified and I am attempting to prioritize my secondary applications. I was wondering based on the experiences of other applicants are there students that received interview invites/notification like 1-2 weeks after submitting the secondary. The reason I ask is that I would really like to have a potential interview or two before the Christmas break.

Thanks for any insight

It depends on how strong your application is. Also, some schools have a very quick turnaround time (e.g. LECOM). UMDNJ was like that for me as well; however, other people have yet to hear back from them one way or the other.

But to answer your question, yes it is definitely possible.

Rec'd interviews 48-72 hours after submitting secondaries to KCUMB, LECOM-B and KCOM. no word from Pikeville, UNE, DMU Lecom-E, rejected from CCOM. 28Q, 3.8 science 3.5 overall

It's not going to mean much to get input from people who were verified and received quick interviews in like July compared to your situation now. The key phrase here is 'rolling admissions.' This essentially means that the statistics of what schools are looking for, which applicants are getting quick interviews, and how many seats are filled are completely different now than they were in July and August. I wouldn't put too much stock into getting interviews before Christmas, but the December 15th deadline for deposits should free up some spots and help you land interviews 'soon.' This is of course assuming that you are a competitive applicant.
