Sent out my app today, and so Im hoping to get it verified in the next 2 weeks. My question is what happens after your app says verified? Do I get an email from schools for secondaries? If so how long does that take?

Depends on the school. Some are same day. Some take a few weeks.

No. It's been awhile since I applied, but I remember you can show an upcoming MCAT as score pending or something to that effect.

But a lot of schools will not send a secondary without an MCAT score (those that prescreen).

No. Just call all of them in August, you can still be complete in time for 1st round interviews at some schools. You're going to be early in the cycle still.

I submitted my primary application in early June, took my MCAT in early July, and worked on secondaries while I waited for my score in August. I was worried about pre screening, so I contacted all of the schools that I wanted to apply to. I ended up receiving all of my secondaries before my scores came out. These days, very few schools pre screen applications. I am sure that the schools that prescreen will wait for your MCAT scores before rendering a decision. You can still work on those secondaries using the school specific threads on SDN...
