How long after an application is processed does the medical school actually recieve a verified copy of your application? Also what do the transmission dates on amcas mean?

I was told by a few schools that they get weekly or daily downloads from amcas, but I think it depends on the school.

You can see the dates changing as the schools get their new versions, when you look on the transmission page.
