This is a neat thread!

I am currently 20 years old, applying for the 2010 cycle, so I should enter dental school at 22 years old, and be done by about 26 years old.

I want to be a general dentist. My boyfriend will be going to medical school, and he'll be going through residency while I start working in the real world to support us both 😛

Eventually I have plans of a family, staying home as much as possible to raise my kids, and doing a lot of volunteer dental work in my city.

I will be 26 when I start the dental school and I will graduate when I am 30 yeas old! Right now I am not thinking too much about next 4 years. I am just anxious to get an interview in next couple of months and see what the outcome is! Thanks for making this thread...

HOPEFULLY, i'll enter d-school at 22, but we'll see how the rest of this app process turns out... best of luck to the rest of you

I just turned 22, and will be in dental school at 23 and graduate at 26, almost 27! No specialization, just getting a job to pay off my 4 years of debt.

I'm 27 (soon to be 28) and applying for Fall '09. It's a bit of a bummer to have to put off my career until I am 32 (and loaded with debt), but its a decision that I think is worth it.
