Hey Guys,

I posted this in the Pre-Medical forum, but I thought I may get some good answes here, as well.

I would like to start volunteering as a CPR/AED Instructor as an EC, but unsure if I should go with AHA or ARC. It seems like ARC would be better for volunteering opportunities, especially since I'm more interested in teaching the layperson basic CPR. However, I have my BLS cert with AHA and I prefer their methods of CPR, but it seems like AHA is more suitable if you want to become a paid instructor.

If anyone has any experience or advice it would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say AHA. More recognized and you could also turn it into a side-income if needed.

I prefer AHA due to the recognition and established research.
