you have to set up a chatroom.
in a given AIM chat window (in which you are chatting with another individual), click "People" and in that menu click "Send Chat Invitation."
it's that easy.

You don't have to be in an IM window. You can just go: people/send chat invitation from the main menu and type in all the users you want to invite at once.

Oh yeah. As a courtesy tell people who they are being invited to chat with and who you are inviting in ahead of time. Some people here really don't want their AIM distributed very widely.

I'll start a chat window up to an hour earlier if there are people on earlier who are interested. Just IM "akprawks" when you get online and I'll invite you in. We can just chat as long as people are interested in doing so.

Regardless of what clothing is worn, one issue that will have to be dealt with is the incredible amount of lag when multiple people are chatting in the same chatroom.
So is this still going on? I can come for awhile, but I have stuff to do later on.
