Hey folks...I am a CA-1 and the AKT 6 is coming up, been doing some board review questinos and reading through Morgan. Any other sources of questions online that might be helpful? Or any one have any extra questions? Any help would be appreciated because I'm a lil nervous my AKT 0 AND 1 werent the best.

anyone have some specific advise on what to study for the akt 6? book? chapter? big blue helpful? thanks

Topic list here. The questions are mostly 1st order fact regurgitation.

Big Blue and the relevant chapters in Hall are high yield.

Like DreamMachine said, skip the subspecialty stuff if you're going to study specificially for this test. Eg the "Cardiovascular" section might ask about hemodynamic goals for people with aortic stenosis, not what to do given a set of PA catheter values coming off bypass. Don't skip the "boring" stuff like machines, circuits, physics, gas cylinder colors, electrical safety, what a line isolation monitor does, etc.
