I remember a while back I read an article which stated a PA in Alaska can challenge the test for an MD licence after practicing in the state for 10 years. Can anyone confirm this?

nope. if that was the case there would be a lot more pa's going to alaska.
trust me, I know lots of alaska pa's. that is an urban myth.
