I am a current 4th year student at AMC, applying for Pediatrics. I applied here and actually would not mind staying, if it did not entail living in Albany for 3 more years ( I have been here for 7). It has a night float system for those that do not like the q4 call system. The residents are all very friendly and most of them seem very proficient and intelligent, and work well independently. There is good contact with attendings as there are not many fellows here. Most of the pediatric attendings are good with providing teaching time, even if it is just a few minutes during rounds in the am.
