After extensive review of these two programs, I still don't know which one I would rather go to.

Financially they are equivalent for me. I ultimately want an ortho residency.

Based on location, school size, culture, vibe, prestige, match rate, general lifestyle of the people who attend:

where would you guys choose, Albany or Temple?

I have no familial tie or preference to either city or geographic region. I will say I want somewhere more fun, as well.

Temple. More highly regarded. More fun. Good research funding. Good culture, as far as I could tell, but, honestly, in a major city you can go enjoy culture away from med students if you want. Can't do that in Albany

Temple by far.

Philly is like night and day better than Albany as a city and the school is much better too. The fact that you have no preference between the two geographic regions is more terrifying than your question itself, especially since you said you want somewhere more fun.

Lol! I agree guys, my guy says Temple, but alot of opinions are appreciated. What about Temple vs. UMass? I have feeling I'll get in this next month

If you are instate to UMass and it is cheaper than Temple, UMass. Otherwise Temple will give you everything you need to be successful

I'd send my kids to Temple.
