IS II!
Congrats! Can I ask when you submitted the secondary?IS II!
They are not on the list this yearhello all! does albany no longer require casper? for some reason, i was under the impression that they did, but i do not see it on my casper distributions page...
7/8Congrats! Can I ask when you submitted the secondary?
No, ditto. Radio silence.has anyone gotten an II from Albany recently? I submitted beginning of August and haven't heard back
They must have alot more applications this year. No, ditto. Radio silence.
They must have alot more applications this year.
Takes longer to sift through them all.Why would more applications = less interviews?

Oh, well, then, idk. I would say maybe they just send stuff out months, but it doesn't look like a wave went out in September. But schools give II's on a rolling basis - as they go through apps. Not at the end.
same I'm seriously not getting any love from NY schools even though I'm IS is this the same with y'allhas anyone gotten an II from Albany recently? I submitted beginning of August and haven't heard back
Albany puts a majority of those that interview on the alternate list so rolling admissions doesn't play as big of a role at this school as it does at others.
How the hell does Admit know that?Where did you hear this? I want to believe it but Admit shows that albany interviews approx 700 and waitlists only 200 (28%).
probably from previous years' dataHow the hell does Admit know that?
Yeah, but not every interviewed applicant reported their post interview decision. Can y’all point me to where it shows the number of waitlists? Even Albany’s school profile shows 700 interviews but nothing about their acceptances/WLprobably from previous years' data

So…AAMC, not Admit? Also, that looks like a useful pdf, can you pls drop the link
Thats the same data admit posted. Admit pulls its interview invite number and waitlist from aamc. You have to click the school statistic tab on admit to see itSo…AAMC, not Admit? Also, that looks like a useful pdf, can you pls drop the link

would you mind sharing state of residence?OOS II!! 70 LM completed first ten days of july.
I am from the midwest, no ties to NY!would you mind sharing state of residence?
I know the AAMC data shows different but last year at the interview they told us that after the interview 10% of interviewees are straight accepted, 10% are straight rejected and 80% are put on the alternate list which is gradually pulled from over the course of the cycle. I believe this to be true as well because a vast majority of those that interviewed last year and in previous years got alternate list before getting accepted. I think the AAMC data is outdated as Albany used to have a different system than using the AL many years ago.
I was on the AL from November until mid-July when I got rejected last cycle. Super funthat’s horrendous
I was on alt list until July when I got rejected last cycle. From what I know most people go on the alt list. I interviewed 9/8 this cycle and haven’t got an email yet.+OOS Alt List. Interviewed on 9/17. Does anyone have information about Alt List?
