albany vs. georgetown

is there really a reputation difference here? I'm didn't get the greatest vibe from GT and i like Albany's curriculum much better. I want to do my residency in NY, so which will be better to get there? Please, any suggestions would be great.

Do you think Georgetown kinda rides off its undergrad reputation? Just a thought...

to both parts of your question.
yes, Georgetown has a better reputation and yes, it possibly does carry over from its undergraduate prestige. (it also has a great law school)
