albany vs. georgetown

how much does a name really mean? I think Georgetown is only known because it has a good undergrad, and I got a much friendlier feeling from albany med. I'm in a master's program now (we take basically all med school classes) and I've done very well...I know that I will do well in medical school, so would I really be giving up anything or closing any doors by not going to GT? Please, any suggestions would be great!

GO TO GEORGETOWN! I go to Union College which is adjacent to Albany Med, and frequent the place like crazy. The situation at Albany med looks bleak with financial fiascoes and professors jumping off deck like a sunken ship. I dont know how touchy feely, nice the place is because i know many of the seven/eight year medical students and these saps will be your future class mates at AMC.
