Hi guys,

I thought Albany took only like a week to 'inform us of their decision'. I interviewed on the 16th or 17th- almost 2 weeks ago. Anybody know the scoop with them? I'm really excited 🙂

Best,
Shiz

i have nothing of value to report on albany... hope you get in though.
p

i interviewed on the 2nd there and no word ???

from what I hear, the first batch of acceptances will be mailed on Nov. 1 and everyone waitlisted or rejected at that time will receive a notice via e-mail. good luck, hopefully we'll hear soon!

i have an interview at Albany this week on halloween morning. flying in from orange county, ca. did anyone go to that student welcome thing the night before the interview? if so, how was it? should i go? what's good about albany?

yeah, albany likes to interview a set number of people before they make a decision and send out their first batch of acceptances.
Once the process gets rolling, decisions are made on a weekly basis (adcom meets every tuesday) and applicants interviewed should be notified of their status within a week or two after their interview. hmm..i don't know if its good or bad that we interviewed early. I heard they tend to waitlist more ppl in the beginning...? argh!

Let me get this straight. On Nov. 1, if we do not recieve an email, we're good to go? If so, cool, but is this hearsay? Of course, the more we know the better 😀

basically, albany wants to interview a set number of ppl before they make their decision and send out the first batch of acceptances. after the process gets rolling, they'll review on a weekly basis (every tuesday) and notify those interviewed of their status within a week or two after their interview. hmm...at least that's what i recall the adcom person saying....
well, just a few more days!
